i'm already posted up a month back on the vortex but i wanted to share my build on here too. i got my caddy driveable so i decided it was time for the wagon to get some much needed lovin. should be back on the road soon... hopefully. here's what i started with

pretty rough shape this has been my dd for 6 years. got it with almost 200k on the clock and put over 150k more on it. so needless to say the engine was tired. cracked that apart and guess what i found. mind you it still ran

yep that's 2 bent rods it drove like that for 2 years the pistons were also very loose in the bores i think the only thing holding this together was the carbon. anyways... here we go.
the motor(going in)

that is a k26 turbo, 5 cyl exhaust manifold with 5th runner removed and stock audi wastegate. should give me 8 psi. also have a 2p tranny going in.
body work

oil feed line for the turbo

i'm not shooting for anything radical just a nice clean install. all said and done i'm looking for about 170 hp. from what i gathered the turbo won't reach full boost till around 3500 rpm and i have a pretty strong bottom end (87 1.8 wolfsburg with less than 60k) 10:1 compression. as long as i keep it fed right i should be able to keep it pretty reliable and streetable.

i'll keep it updated
