If you call neuspeed they can get out a kit to you that will fit your car. Theres a brazilian company out that offers springs on ebay. If i can find it ill post up a link. There have been a few fox owners who have bought and give them good reviews. Im not sure if you can get away with it, but you might make it with just some nice shocks. Such as some bilsteins.

This sounds suspiciuosly like a project underway by 'antlerz2go' on the 'Tex...

There are options, but I would first recommend determining how much your weight is actually changing. How much does your electric motor weigh in comparison to the original motor? How much do your batteries weigh? Where are they distributed on the chassis?

With some information about final weight and desired ride height, I might be able to make some semi-intelligent suggestions.

The motor will be lighter (almost certainly), but the batteries will weigh quite a bit. That will be the deciding factor...

Actually the weight increase will be only around 500 lbs. The plus side is i am using Light wight lithium batteries. This gives me the advantage of making my fox perfectly 50/50 balanced. Also the majority of the wight will be below the axel making the handleing awesome! ANy of you thinking of converting your dieng fox engine to electric, it makes a great car. The coversion im basing mine on is from www.metricmind.com However i do not want to lower my fox as i still need to do a bit of romping off road still (:

Sorry, A little brain fart. I dont know what the increse is going to be. But the wheight of the batteries and the motor will be around 240. Im not sure what the weight of the gas tank and engine is that it will be replacing so we will just wait and see.

I'm pretty shure these guys will work with your Fox.

Copy and paste it into your browser, for some reason the link didn't work.

Just a thought but you could have the springs heat-treated but you must be careful not to create a "brittle" spring by treating them to hard. You can have them tested using the Rockwell C Scale at the heat-treater for hardnes prior to heat-treating.

I spoke with a Sales Rep at Neuspeed and he informed me that some Fox enthusiasts started a petition for another run of Fox Performance Springs a few years ago so Neuspeed did a final run and, according to Neuspeed you can probably find some on E-Bay. Call Neuspeed for part numbers.
