I need two new tie rods so my fox is currently out of commission until I recive those, but on the brite side it gives me a chance to do some much needed cosmetic work on my fox.

My front wheel bearing exploded on me, so I needed a new hub, cost me a total of $22 for a shiny brand new hub!!

This is my right tie rod with an un-natural crink in it.

Here's the left front dismantled with the Bently in the background.

I have also painted my rims flat black, I think they look tons better.

Sorry about the quality of the photos but all I have is my phone right now. It really sucks when you transfer all your pics over to your camera because you are reformating your HD and then your camera decides to stop working and erase everything on the SD card. I happend to find a couple of pics (mostly family stuff) and these taken up in the Snowy Range.

It would have been really sweet if I could have had my Fox in a picture with a fox.

A couple of years ago on christmas break I got hit in the right front and it collapsed the suspension. I had to go back to school and had my parents take care of it. They just paid a family friend to do the work, and he must have missed the tie rod or just didn't want to do it. Overall he did really nice work though. Drove just like it did before the accident. I definatly couldn't tell my tie rod had a bend in it.

Thanks for the comments!!

Damn that sucks, but a good thing you had a family friend do it, for im sure a reasonable price. Its looking good, what plans you got for it? BTW its snowing up there already?

It's snowed a little, but it didn't stick.

Going to do the tie rods Thurs, hopefully I can get it back on the road by at least noon so I can get some work done on my BMW too. No major plans, it is my daily driver so I don't really want to screw it up too bad.

It's off getting the front wheels alligned right now, hopefully be done before I have to go to work so I can snap some pics of it in the daytime.

I just got a new camera too so I was doing some testing with it. I can tell now that I needed to turn up the exposure time a bit but I couldn't tell on the LCD on the camera.

My roomates badgering me about that too (he can't say too much because he drives a saturn) but I just ordered some bilstein HD stock ride hight rear shocks seeing as how the right side rear is starting to go on me. I think the shock housing on the Koni got bent somehow and it's filling up with dirt.

And if I do I will need something to protect my oilpan, seeing as how it allready has a couple of scrapes and dents in it from my driving it at the unbelievably high ride hight of the fox. I'm thinkin about just getting some stiffer springs and calling it a day.

So bassicly I don't want to lower it untill I get another daily driver or move out of this town, which is a major hazard for lowerd cars.

Well if you went with neuspeeds or the weitecs. It really doesnt lower the car much, doesnt really slam it. Well really none of the kits do unless you go with coil overs.
