Looks like another Old Skool GTG is just starting to shape up... The same folks that organized the hugely successful Pt. Reyes GTG in February 06 are starting to turn the gears for a sequel in 07. It's not Fox specific, but the two Foxes that made it last year got a lot of respect.
I missed 2007, but I made it to the 2008 event on Saturday - as did a few other Foxers...

The white one is one of Tim Tomas's toys. (Tim is a local guru of VW service and tuning - shameless plug here: [url=http://www.tomassporttuning.com]http://www.tomassporttuning.com[/url] Check the site for videos. :thumbup: ) He opened the doors and showed how deeply he had been mudding it. Mud was up to the striker inside the door jam all the way around :eek: . Bummer that the weather seal was a little weak on the driver door - had a little bit of mud flow over the sill and onto the floorboards. Dat guy is nutz...
Good times, overall.
It was good seeing John/88GL_Wagon again and finally meeting the (in)famous Anders/Windowlicker and Ric/Banned Wagon. Oh, and magicninja too - if just for a second.
Sorry my pix are sucky, if you want good pix, you'll have to leave that to someone with better equipment and more talent.
