I went with John Deere Blitz Black and can be picked up for under $30 a gallon (more than enough) from most John Deere industrial suppliers. If you google the color you will get all sorts of info on it.
It works about the best if you have your garage at right around 65 deg and use Valspar 182 medium acrylic enamel reducer. On the right side of my hood you can see some streaking, this is because one side of my garage was right around 60 deg and the other was right around 50 deg. I hear that if you dont park your car in a garage the paint gets chalky (usually takes it right around a year) but I also hear if you spray the car with WD-40 or some sort of lubricant and wipe it down it restores the luster of the paint. I'm thinking of trying some cheap liquid wax with teflon in it and seeing how that makes it look.
I still need to paint the bumpers and give it a wetsanding and another coat of paint. And also put a clearcoat of this guy on the hood....
Edit: and in case you didn't notice the antena is gone!!! I never used that thing anyway
I've allready got some pretty decent wheels and tires that I run in the summer. The only thing I don't really like about them is they are 16". Here's a pic of em on my fox...

All I have under there is a free flowmaster with a giant tip I ripped off of my 325e and welded in place of my rusted out old muffler. It sounds pretty evil and by no means ricy which I think was just dumb luck because it sounded really bad with the old holy muffler even when the muffler was brand spakin new.
If you're really into the flats, there's a company that makes whole series of colors in flat, including black. Supposedly doesn't chalk. Got it from the Kustoms crowd, you know 50 mercs. They're called Hot Rod Flats, check out Kustomshop.com I'm gonna use some on my bike. - Bob
A fellow flat black fan. LOL. I have some pics on the site of my '84 Colt I did in the early 90's. I just sanded it real good and used Tremclad rust paint. LOL. Help up for YEARS!! Outlasted the car. I always called it "non-paint" and loved the fact i could run it through backroads and touch up the scratches in seconds.
