Just wanted to say HOLA, and after buying my current project of 2, the 1989 VW FOX GL, and a 1969 Datsun B510. I have a fresh engine for the FOX and will be installing it soon. The body is dent free, and the interior doesn't smell like death either. It will make a great daily driver......
The Datsun is soon to become a weekend Race Car......

| 510 is the hotness! So much you can do with it. Welcome to the forums. Is your new engine just a stock bolt in? Or you got some goodies-lol. Either way.....welcome and good luck with the new motor. Post some pics up. |

If we end up racing it, it has to stay OEM. BUT, I may finish the FOX, sell it and buy a KA Motor for the B510, and go with side draft Webers or Solexes. (I can get the Solexes from my buddys in Japan cheaper than Webers). Then set up a Distributorless system using a Compufire Ignition and then it will be awesome. That and an older Subaru R160 LSD rear End fits right in. (Thats cause Datsun use to own Subaru for awhile), both had IRS differentials.
