Hey.

I live in the Netherlands and I've bought a '89 Fox GL Wagon last weekend.
The 87-93 Fox has never been released in Europe, it's imported from the States in 1991 and has 79.000 miles on it.

Thanks.

I've already ordered lowering springs, dark corner lights and dark taillights.
Now I'm looking for some nice wheels.

Looking good. Cant wait to see the springs on the car. Curious how the drop will be for a wagon.

Cool.

The front springs look right, but for some reason, the rears look more like sedan springs than wagon. I could be wrong, but they just seemn a little smallish (in diameter).

Here is one of my original Neuspeed Sport springs (rear) that they used to offer for the Fox Wagon. Maybe it's just that the Brazilian springs have a greater number of coils that makes it look smaller in diameter - an optical illusion. (Sorry for the crappy pic, but it's the only one of got of the rear coil out of the car when I put the Bilstein Sport dampers in...)

Damn man that looks really good. So thats the brazilian springs eh, how do they feel? Pretty stiff? I think i might go with those and cut a coil out so i can get a tad bit lower. Looking GREAT!

Thanks.

Snowfox was right, Brazilshopping sent me the wrong set.
The front springs were OK, they've only cut one coil out to make it this low.
They've costumized the springs of an other VW (Corrado?) for the rear.
It took a lot of time to make it fit perfect.

Looks great, Ernie! Sorry to hear I was right about the rear springs. At least they got you all fixed up though! You are probably right about your new rears being from a Corrado. Any of the Corrado/MkII Golf or Jetta will fit the rear of the wagon. I know a guy locally who lowered his wagon nicely on a set of 60mm drop Vogtland Race Springs for the Corrado G60.

What did you do for new shocks and struts?
