| well i finished fine tuning the aba, it is runnin nearly 12:1 compression 10degrees advanced timing and now it drives like it should, found some dual piston calipers from an audi to go with my 11" summer brakes, 60hp more and a better differential and i could almost keep up with my honda prelude vtec, honda pulls strong all the way to 120-125mph tho, |

workin on putting 225/40/18's on it for the summer, along with dual piston front calipers from a 1990 audi 200 with the G60's 11" rotor. right now i have jetta rear springs and going to put jetta rear shocks on it this summer, they are taller with the same amount of travel so i can lift the car without running out of shock space. gotta move the spring plate up a couple inches to clear the tire.
on the front i will be using 10mm spacers to clear the tie rod, and putting the front springs from the jetta up front and then probably make the spring compressed another inch or 2 to stiffen it up so the finders dont slam onto the tires when i turn or stop hard. |
