Hi guys just looking for a little help I just bought a 1993 Fox and I'm looking to upgrade it a little. What I want to do is a K&N air filter that will drop in the factory air box and some lowering springs for now.
Any info would be great .
Thank You

Hey welcome to the forums. You can go to any Autozone and bye the filter. Do not expect big gains with it but you should be able to HEAR something different in the car. What i have learned is that you need to take the air box out and make smalls hole at the bottom part of it. This will make the filter bread better air. I know it sounds wear but i read that at vwvortex decide to try and for my surprise i did feel a difference. For lowering springs check this links. or go direct to VWVORTEX go direct to the fox forum there is a lost of info for this topic in the faq's section. Anyway here you have the links i hope these helps. Good luck. Any other questions just ask.

Cutting holes in the box is no good, aka swiss cheese. Cutting holes in the only allows hot air from the exhaust to enter the intake. Hot air kills power and pretty much is the same as heat soak. Put a filter in and route a hose to an outside cold air source.
