alright having problems with my fox again ok when i am at idle i watch my rpm gauge go from 1000 rpms to 1100 rpms down to 900 rpms back to 1000 rpms and i am starting to feel it as i drive every once and a while can you guys give me some suggestions on what i should be looking for to fix this problems

figured out what the problem was, it was the coolant tempature sender, i think there is something wrong with my thermo time switch because everytime i start the car up it starts hard, i disconnect the plug off the cold start valve and i start it back up and no problems it starts up right, oh and this is my 89 volkswagon fox gl

I had the same problem. I used to just run with the cold start always unplugged. It was easier and ran better.

The Touge: Where drivers are found, not wanted...
